Timo is currently studying a BFA in Drawing and Painting at OCAD University.

Timo Cheah, a Canadian interdisciplinary artist of Chinese-Malaysian and Finnish descent, reflects on contemporary queer identity and ways of decolonizing their being. Becoming acquainted with the Pacific Northwest through blue collar work, yet living in Tkaronto/Toronto, they critically ponder as a visitor on unceded Indigenous lands.

They are a member of the Shoes Off Collective and Mature Student Collective at OCADu.

Their recent work was shown at She Said Gallery, the Chinatown Centre and Propeller Art Gallery.
